Step Number 2: Ball Handling Continued..

I hope by now you're are understanding the importance of ball handling and how important it is to the game of basketball. To better help you with your handle, it is key to know a few drills to do. Now I know you might be worried about a location to go and practice. No worries. You can work on your handle virtually anywhere. There are hundreds of drills for improving your handle. However over the next week I will be sharing with you some of my personal favorites. The first is body circles. To do body circles you simple rotate the basketball around certain parts of your body. You always start with body circles to get familiar with the ball. The key points is to keep your head up and not rotate the ball too slow. It's ok to go fast in this drill. The more you do it the faster and smoother you will be able to do it. This is a good 5-7 minutes pre-warmup drill.
